• Via I-84 East (From New York City and
points west)
– Take Exit 5 (Route 53). Go straight at the first
stop sign.
– At the 1st traffic light, turn right onto Main Street (Route
53).
– At the end of Main Street, turn left onto South Street (Route
53).
– Stay on Route 53. At the 3rd traffic light, turn
left onto Shelter Rock Road.
– Go straight through the next traffic light, then turn right
into the EEI driveway.

• Via I-84 West
(From Waterbury, Hartford, and points east)
– Take Exit 8 (Route 6). Stay straight
on Route 6 through 8 traffic lights.
– Continue up the hill until you see a gas station
on your left.
– Just before the gas station, turn left onto Old
Shelter Rock Road.
– At the stop sign go straight.
– Continue to the end, then turn right onto Shelter
Rock Road.
– Stay on Shelter Rock Road until you reach the
railroad crossing.
– Immediately after the railroad crossing, turn
left into the EEI driveway.

• Via the Merritt Parkway and Route 58
(From Fairfield)
– Take the Merritt Parkway to Exit 44 (Route 58).
– Proceed north on Route 58 toward Bethel.
– At the intersection with Route 302, turn left
toward Bethel.
– Follow Route 302 to Route 53. Turn right onto
Route 53.
– At the 3rd traffic light, turn right onto Shelter
Rock Road.
– Go straight through one traffic light, then turn
right into the EEI driveway.
